My boyfriend and I went for breakfast. I got the French toast with bacon & sausage, it was very good. My boyfriend got the Grandpa Skillet, that was So GOOD! Im getting that next time we go.

Sunny Side Diner is such a great local spot! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always on top of things. The food comes out fresh, hot, and exactly how you want it classic diner comfort done right. The place is clean, cozy, and perfect for breakfast or a quick bite any time of day. One of my go-to spots in Middletown! Highly recommend.

Five stars...1) I'm thankful this place is open on Christmas day. 2) The food was good (I ordered grilled salmon with two sides). 3) The place was busy, but the service was still good. 4) The restroom was clean. It's very important that the restroom is clean, in my opinion. 5) plenty of parking space.

Good food, went for breakfast and everything was very good. Service was good but the server stink so bad if cigarettes that it was off putting. She was very nice and attentive though.

Good food, good service. This place does not meet any definition of rowdy. It felt serene and the staff was friendly. I placed an order by phone and did carryout. My order was slightly special but they were able to accommodate.

Went here yesterday with my family after a day at the beach. Service was phenomenal by our waitress Marty! She was all alone helping four other tables but effortlessly helped all of us. Such a sweet girl! Great personality and even cracked jokes with my daughter's. Hands down to the cook as well. Our perfect was hot, correct and perfectly seasoned. Me and my family were very happy with our experience and will definitely be coming back! I usually take pictures of my food, but we ate it too fast. Only one I got was my daughter's cute Mickey mouse pancakes. How sweet!

Looks like it's under new management. Was king arms diner now it's sunny side. Even though the outside sign still says king arms as of 12/20/25. Food was good. Typical diner fare

Great atmosphere, waitress was pleasant. The food presentation was good, and fresh ingredients were used. I ordered the tex-mex south-western egg rolls that were cooked perfectly. However, they lacked taste. The crispness was there, but they didn't taste like anything. The salsa dip tasted like spaghetti sauce as well. If I come again I'll prolly get a panini.
